Amy teaches classical guitar lessons to students of all levels from beginning to advanced, ages eight to adult. Students learn technique, music theory, and a variety of songs. Lessons are tailored to the interests and ability levels of each individual student and are scheduled once a week for 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Amy's students have the opportunity to participate in recitals as well as the Certificate of Merit program for classical guitar.

Amy teaches beginning piano lessons to students ages eight to adult. Students learn technique, music theory, and a variety of songs. Amy has a hands-on approach to teaching piano and helps her students learn to play freely without tension and with musical expression. The piano is a great first instrument to learn as the fundamentals learned on piano can be applied to any other instrument. Lessons are scheduled once a week for 30 or 45 minutes. Amy's piano students have the opportunity to participate in two recitals each year.

Amy teaches ukulele lessons to students ages eight to adult. The ukulele is an easy instrument to learn and students are able to play fun songs after just a few lessons. Students learn to play melodies and chords, duets, and to play along with recordings! The ukulele is a great instrument to learn before the guitar to create finger dexterity and learn rhythm and musicality. Ukulele lessons are scheduled once a week for 30 minutes. Amy's ukulele students have the opportunity to participate in two recitals each year.

Amy is a music teacher in Temecula, CA. She began taking piano lessons at age six and guitar lessons at age nine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from California State University, Fullerton, where she studied under David Grimes. She taught at Riverside City College as an Associate Professor of Music and has been performing and teaching music lessons since 2005.
Amy has performed at hundreds of events as a soloist and with various chamber groups. She was a member of the Fullerton Guitar Orchestra from 2006-2010, during which they performed throughout California and on a three-week tour of Bulgaria, which culminated with a concert at the U.S. Embassy in Sofia. She has published arrangements and original compositions and recorded three albums. Amy is a founding committee member of the Orange County Guitar Orchestra and served as the chair of the guitar syllabus committee during the development of the Certificate of Merit program with the Music Teacher's Association of California.
Amy is also a certified yoga and Alexander Technique teacher. During her Alexander Technique training, Amy interned at the Meadowmount School of Music in New York, where she had the opportunity to work with pianists, violinists, violists, and cellists from all over the world.
Amy believes in the importance of health and wellness for musicians. She has a holistic approach to teaching music and enjoys teaching aspects of Alexander Technique to her students.
Lessons are held at Amy's home studio in the Harveston community of Temecula, CA, less than 2 miles from the Promenade mall off of Winchester and the 15 fwy, on the border of Temecula and Murrieta.
